CEB Greentech (01257) has released its interim results for the 2026 fiscal year, recording revenue of approximately HK$3.492 billion, a 3% increase compared to the same period last year. Net profit attributable to equity holders of the company was about HK$195 million, up 2% year-on-year.
Earnings per share stood at 9.46 HK cents, with an interim dividend of 2.9 HK cents per share. During the review period, the group's revenue rose year-on-year. In terms of operations, the biomass comprehensive utilization segment continued to optimize its business structure, with heating services acting as a new growth driver, boosting the segment's performance. The domestic hazardous waste and solid waste disposal market environment stabilized, and some projects saw higher disposal unit prices year-on-year, driving related revenue growth. Other business segments showed stable or improving performance.
The increase in net profit attributable to equity holders was primarily due to the group's ongoing efforts to deepen cost-reduction potential and effectively manage operating costs. The group's main businesses include biomass comprehensive utilization, hazardous waste and solid waste disposal, environmental remediation, photovoltaic power generation, and wind power. As of June 30, 2026, the group had implemented 140 environmental protection investment projects, with a total investment of approximately RMB 30.343 billion. It had also cumulatively undertaken 95 asset-light projects, such as environmental remediation, with total contract value of about RMB 2.380 billion.
In terms of market expansion, the group is focusing on its core development strategy of "two modernizations and one type," advancing a new phase of "second entrepreneurship." Anchored by the main business of "clean energy," it is strengthening the synergistic development of traditional advantageous businesses and emerging business demonstrations. During the review period, the group signed two new environmental remediation service contracts. In Hong Kong, its photovoltaic projects totaled 13, with a combined design-installed power generation capacity of 3.60 megawatts. The group's wind power projects, with a total installed capacity of 96 megawatts, are primarily located in Shanxi Province.
Leveraging the layout advantages of existing projects, the group continues to push forward with asset-light business expansion. During the review period, it completed environmental remediation contracts worth approximately RMB 47.81 million. In the new materials business, the environmental chelating agent segment had signed contracts with 16 cumulative customers, totaling RMB 11.378 million. The slag resource utilization business is being advanced in a coordinated manner, with the expansion of business-to-business (B2B) asset-light businesses growing steadily, forming an initial development pattern that balances both heavy and light assets.
