Prudential plc (PRU, 02378.HK) Cancels 368,389 Repurchased Shares; Total Outstanding Reduced to 2.53 Billion

Prudential plc disclosed that, on 13 March 2026, it repurchased 368,389 ordinary shares (par value: 5 pence) from JP Morgan Securities plc under the authority granted at the 2025 AGM and the share-buyback arrangement announced on 6 January 2026.

\n\nTransaction details showed a lowest execution price of £10.66 per share, a highest price of £10.89 and a volume-weighted average price of £10.77. All shares were bought on the London Stock Exchange and will be cancelled.

\n\nFollowing cancellation, Prudential’s issued share capital will stand at 2.53 billion shares, representing an equivalent number of voting rights for regulatory disclosure purposes.

\n\nThe buyback complied with the London Stock Exchange Listing Rules, the Hong Kong Code on Share Buy-Backs and Article 5(1)(b) of the UK Market Abuse Regulation. A full list of individual trades is available at the link provided in the company’s announcement.
