该行分析了过去三十年间股票发行量的上升情况，发现这些时期股市往往会上涨，前三个月的回报率中位数为8%，而12个月的回报率则超过20%。全球金融危机时期是一个例外。
尽管如此，谷歌母公司Alphabet宣布将出售股票以为其人工智能建设提供资金的消息，仍在本月初令投资者感到不安。此后股市已趋于稳定。
