Tata Secures Land in Hyderabad for Massive AI Data Center Project Valued at 70 Billion Rupees

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced that its subsidiary, HyperVault, has secured a 264-acre land parcel in Hyderabad to develop a sprawling artificial intelligence data center campus, according to a recent exchange filing. The facility is designed to support up to 1 gigawatt (GW) of computing capacity, positioning it as one of the largest AI infrastructure projects in the region.

In an official statement, the company confirmed that HyperVault and its strategic partners anticipate investing up to 7000 billion rupees (roughly $74 billion) to construct and manage this state-of-the-art AI infrastructure, underscoring the group's commitment to expanding its digital and cloud capabilities in India.
