Oct 22, 2025

On 22 October 2025, Bison Finance Group Limited (Stock Code: 888) issued an announcement outlining three proposals: amendments to its existing bye-laws to align with the latest listing rules, a change of its English and Chinese names, and the adoption of further amended bye-laws under its new name. The proposed name change will rebrand “Bison Finance Group Limited” to “BlockFin Holdings Limited,” with the Chinese version shifting from “貝森金融集團有限公司” to “鏈信控股有限公司.”

The proposed bye-law amendments seek to bring the company’s constitutional documents in line with updated requirements involving treasury shares, expanded paperless listing regimes, and electronic dissemination of corporate communications. A special general meeting will be convened for shareholders to vote on these changes and the new name adoption. According to the announcement, existing share certificates will remain valid, and no shareholders will be required to abstain from voting on these resolutions.

The change of company name has been prompted by the upcoming expiration of the license to use “Bison” and “貝森.” Upon regulatory approval, the new name will become effective, and a new corporate identity will be reflected in official documentation and on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. A circular providing further details and meeting arrangements will be dispatched to shareholders in accordance with listing requirements.
