CHINANEWENERGY Releases FY 2025 Annual Report and Shifts to Full E-Communication

Bulletin Express
Apr 29

China New Energy Limited (CHINANEWENERGY) notified registered shareholders on 30 April 2026 that its Annual Report 2025 is now available in both English and Chinese on the HKEX website (www.hkexnews.hk) and the company’s site (www.zkty.com.cn).

Key points:

1. Annual Report 2025 Access • The report can be downloaded directly from the company or HKEX websites. • Shareholders experiencing difficulties in accessing the online version may request a printed copy free of charge via email (ChinaNewEnergy.ecom@computershare.com.hk) or by writing to the Hong Kong share registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited.

2. Transition to Electronic Dissemination • In line with the HKEX paperless listing regime (Listing Rule 2.07 effective 31 December 2023), CHINANEWENERGY has adopted electronic delivery for all future corporate communications, including annual and interim reports, meeting notices, circulars and proxy forms. • Both English and Chinese versions of future documents will be posted on the company and HKEX websites; printed versions will no longer be distributed by default.

3. Shareholder Action Required • To ensure timely receipt of electronic communications, shareholders are encouraged to provide a functional email address. This can be done by scanning the personalised QR code on the enclosed reply form or by returning the completed form to Computershare. • Until a valid email address is supplied, shareholders will continue to receive printed notices of publication by post, while any “Actionable Corporate Communications” (materials requiring shareholder instructions) will still be mailed in hard copy. • Shareholders preferring hard-copy documents may opt in by returning the reply form or emailing the registrar; such instructions remain valid for one year from the date of receipt.

4. Enquiries • Questions can be directed to Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services at +852 2862 8688, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 (HK time).

The board, chaired by Yu Weijun, emphasised that the shift to electronic dissemination aligns the company with HKEX’s enhanced sustainability and efficiency initiatives while maintaining flexible access options for all shareholders.
