Net profit reached RMB 629 million, up 7.94% from the corresponding period last year, while net profit attributable to shareholders of the bank stood at RMB 595 million, marking a 6.76% year-on-year growth. Basic earnings per share amounted to RMB 0.10.
As of the end of the reporting period, the group's total assets amounted to RMB 590.856 billion, an increase of RMB 1.637 billion compared to the end of the previous year. Loans and advances to customers totaled RMB 368.338 billion, up RMB 4.971 billion from the prior year-end. Customer deposits reached RMB 415.860 billion, a rise of RMB 15.899 billion during the same comparison period.
Why business structure is improving
The bank's business mix continued to optimize, with asset allocation shifting further toward its core operations and enhanced profitability. Loans and advances to customers accounted for 62.34% of total assets, an increase of 0.67 percentage points from the end of last year. On the liability side, efforts were directed toward lower-cost funding, with the average deposit cost rate falling to 1.72%, down 30 basis points year on year. The trend toward a stable and improving net interest margin was further consolidated, with the margin reaching 1.46% during the reporting period, up 6 basis points from the same period last year.
Asset quality remains stable
Asset quality continued to show steady improvement. As of the end of the reporting period, the group's non-performing loan ratio stood at 1.99%, a decrease of 0.01 percentage points from the end of the previous year. The provision coverage ratio was 162.38%, up 0.43 percentage points compared to the prior year-end.
