Liaoning Port Co.,Ltd. (02880) has announced its decision to engage in structured deposit activities using its idle self-owned funds.

The move is designed to further activate the company's idle working capital, enhance fund utilisation efficiency, and bolster its cash returns. The initiative will be carried out only after ensuring all funding requirements are met, including daily operational turnover, project construction, debt redemption, shareholder dividends, and significant capital expenditures. It will not divert funds from core business operations or disrupt normal production and management activities.

The company and its consolidated subsidiaries will implement a routine, rolling cap of RMB 2 billion for structured deposit operations. Throughout the authorised period, the aggregate principal of all outstanding structured deposits, along with any rolling reinvestment returns, must not exceed the RMB 2 billion ceiling at any given time. Once the principal and interest are fully recovered upon maturity, the funds can be recycled for further operations.
