谷歌母公司Alphabet宣布将把支持人工智能战略的支出规模扩大约一倍。此前Meta Platforms已于上周表示将增加开支。Alphabet股价周四盘中一度暴跌6.5%，最终收窄跌幅至0.5%。
避险情绪蔓延令加密货币市场遭受重创。比特币暴跌超12%，价格跌破6.4万美元关口，已回吐自2024年11月特朗普赢得大选以来的全部涨幅。纳斯达克成分股中表现最差的加密货币资产管理公司Strategy股价暴跌17%。
政府与私营机构数据均显示美国劳动力市场呈现疲态。劳工部周四称去年12月职位空缺数较去年同期减少约100万个，创下疫情后新低。就业服务机构Challenger, Gray & Christmas估计上月裁员人数超过10万，较12月大幅上升。
