Two Jewelry Stores Robbed in Xianning, Police Solve Case Within 24 Hours

Two jewelry stores in a shopping mall in Xianning, Hubei Province, were recently robbed, drawing public attention as police swiftly solved the case and returned the stolen gold.

A representative from the mall stated that on the evening of the 29th, near closing time, a suspect wearing a helmet and mask smashed four display counters with a hammer and stole over 600,000 yuan worth of gold from the two stores. By the evening of the 30th, the suspect had been apprehended, and by the morning of the 31st, police had returned the stolen gold to the stores.

The mall representative expressed deep gratitude to the police for recovering the losses in less than 24 hours. Authorities in Xianning confirmed that the suspect has been arrested.
