YOFC's stock price surged 5.03% during intraday trading on Monday, reflecting a significant rebound in the optical communications sector.

The rally comes as the sector stabilizes following a period of deep correction. Previous selling pressure was triggered by a bearish research report questioning the commercialization timeline for Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) technology, coupled with market concerns over potential price cuts exceeding 60% for 800G optical modules. These concerns have been partially alleviated after NVIDIA issued a denial regarding some reports, and industry investors indicated that CPO mass production progress may arrive earlier than previously expected by the market.

Fundamental factors are also supporting the sector's recovery, including a persistent global supply-demand gap for optical fiber and Amazon's multi-billion-dollar fiber procurement agreement with Corning to support data center expansion in the United States. The broad-based nature of the recovery is confirmed by gains in peer stocks within the communications equipment sector.
