During the 2026 Sustainable Global Leaders Summit, which also hosted the Second Green Industry and Sustainable Consumption Expo, Wang Fang, Global Head of Stewardship at Fidelity International, spoke at the "Long-Term Capital and Resilient Growth" forum, stating that the real question should not be whether sustainability factors will affect investment portfolios, but rather how we proactively identify and manage these impacts.

She stated plainly: "Ultimately, what we pursue is not the greenest investment portfolio, but rather one that best aligns with clients' investment objectives and can consistently create investment value for them."

In her view, portfolio construction is not about maximizing a single metric, but rather about making objectives, risks, and trade-offs clearly visible and actively managed.
