Aug 10

Binhai Investment Company Limited (BINHAI INV) has disclosed that its non-wholly-owned subsidiary, Deqing Qiyuan Intelligent Control Energy Service Co. Ltd., has signed separate agreements with the Collective Economic Organisation of Baibiao Village, Xinshi Town, Deqing County, and Deqing Xinhehui Construction Development Co. Ltd. to develop distributed photovoltaic power-generation projects totaling a planned 3.51 MW.

Under the agreements, Qiyuan Intelligent Control will finance, construct and operate the rooftop installations, managing all compliance procedures—ranging from project filing and grid-connection approvals to construction permitting—along with ongoing equipment procurement, construction, and maintenance. The lease term is set at 15 years from the date the projects commence grid-connected power generation. All electricity sales revenues, state subsidies and renewable-energy certificate income will accrue to Qiyuan Intelligent Control.

Management highlighted the projects as BINHAI INV’s first externally invested distributed solar initiatives, positioning the Group for broader participation in integrated energy services. Leveraging its partnership with the Deqing County Government, the company expects the projects to provide stable, long-term cash flows while establishing a replicable model for future distributed photovoltaic developments.
