FULUM GP HLDG has released its 10th Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, covering the period from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 and focusing on its 82 restaurants, central kitchen and logistics centre that generate over 99.9% of group revenue.

Key environmental performance • Total greenhouse-gas emissions fell 24.33% year on year to 16,760.50 tCO₂e. Scope 1 (direct) emissions accounted for 30.7%, Scope 2 (purchased electricity) 67.4% and Scope 3 (other indirect) 1.9%. • Total energy consumption decreased 16.31% to 50,918.20 MWh, with electricity representing 28,853.60 MWh and gas 21,235.90 MWh. Energy intensity was largely flat at 0.0358 MWh per HK$1,000 turnover. • Water use slipped 2.8% to 547,218.70 m³, while intensity rose to 0.39 m³ per HK$1,000 turnover. • Waste-oil generation contracted 31.0% to 76.80 tonnes; A4 paper purchases dropped 38.0% to HK$0.02 million as the group pushed paperless operations. • Packaging-material use totalled 199.35 tonnes after an expanded reporting scope; the company has pledged to eliminate single-use plastics by end-2027.

Climate strategy and targets • New medium-term goals call for 20% reductions in GHG emissions, energy consumption and water usage by 2032 versus a 2022 baseline. • A climate-risk framework aligned with IFRS S2 has been adopted; scenario analysis identifies acute risks from extreme weather and transition risks from tighter regulation and carbon pricing. • A phased transition plan includes upgrading to high-efficiency kitchen equipment, expanding food-waste recycling, and exploring solar installations at the central kitchen.

Social metrics and governance highlights • Workforce totalled 1,676, with 1,340 employees receiving 13,865 training hours; staff aged 50 + filled 207 positions. • No work-related fatalities were recorded; two injury cases led to 56 lost days. • Zero corruption cases were reported; 53 managers attended ICAC integrity training. • Community contributions exceeded HK$0.21 million in cash and products, alongside 30 volunteer hours. • The board-level ESG Committee, chaired by executive director Yeung Chun Nin, met at least twice during the year and oversees climate-risk integration, stakeholder engagement and performance tracking.

Operational and customer initiatives • Total membership across digital platforms reached 210,000; a unified app will consolidate loyalty programmes across the group’s 35 brands. • Digitalisation of ordering and back-office processes and the outsourcing of logistics fleets reduced fuel costs and emissions; all delivery vehicles now meet Euro V/VI standards. • At The Hong Kong Polytechnic University canteen, an “all-round green operation” prototype cut food waste and introduced fully recyclable packaging.

Awards and recognition • Four accolades at the 2024 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence, plus the TVB ESG Special Recognition Award and the Green Drive Excellence Award. • The group has been a “Caring Company” for 17 consecutive years.

Outlook FULUM GP HLDG plans to deepen supplier sustainability audits, roll out its forthcoming “Green Professionals Cultivation Programme” in 2027, and broaden food-waste recycling across locations while maintaining its trajectory toward the 2032 environmental-performance targets.
