Oklo宣布，其 Groves Isotope Test Reactor（GITR）已获得美国能源部（DOE）的启动授权，为反应堆装载燃料、开展启动测试及正式投入运行扫清障碍。
公司表示，该项目全部由私人资本投资，在私人土地上建设，展示了一种具有可扩展性且面向商业化的先进核反应堆开发模式，可为未来同类项目提供参考。
Oklo首席执行官Jacob DeWitte表示，公司通过在未开发土地上建设反应堆、完成全规模土建施工，并以商业化方式采购核燃料及主要设备，证明了先进核能产业的发展速度可以远超市场此前预期。
