汇丰控股（00005）于2026年8月21日发布公告，披露公司于2026年8月20日分别在英国及香港市场回购普通股。其中，英国市场回购1,481,000股，最高及最低回购价分别为每股15.086英镑及14.952英镑，合计耗资约2,225.33万英镑；香港市场回购368,800股，最高及最低回购价分别为每股160.9港元及159.6港元，合计耗资约5,904.57万港元。
公告显示，公司于2026年8月20日还注销了此前在英国购回的2,288,931股普通股（每股回购价为15.2637英镑），占注销前已发行股本约0.013326%，公司已发行股本因而从17,177,066,797股降至17,174,777,866股。
公司于2026年5月8日获得股东周年大会通过的股份回购授权，并可于授权范围内继续开展回购。公司同时确认本次回购及注销事宜已遵守香港联合交易所有限公司证券上市规则和相关法律法规。公告由授权签名人张嘉琪签署。
