Xinhua News Media Holdings Limited (309) Provides Update on Court Applications Regarding EGM Requisition

On 31 October 2025, a Summons related to a shareholder’s requisition for an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) was heard by the High Court of Hong Kong. The court declined to grant any interim injunction against Xinhua News Media Holdings Limited or its directors at this stage and adjourned the Summons to a later date for substantive arguments.
The Company noted that it is consulting its legal adviser on the matter and will continue to protect the interests of shareholders through appropriate measures. Additional announcements may be issued if necessary in accordance with relevant rules.
