澳大利亚矿业公司MINERAL RESOURCES LTD（MIN.AU）今日盘中大涨8.70%，引起市场广泛关注。
据悉，MINERAL RESOURCES宣布将以7.65亿美元的价格向韩国浦项制铁控股公司出售其运营中的锂业务30%的股份。该交易涉及MINERAL RESOURCES在Wodgina和Mt Marion锂矿各50%的所有权，使浦项制铁间接获得这两个项目各15%的权益。这两个矿山被认为是西澳大利亚最重要的锂矿之一，其中Wodgina矿更是世界上最大的硬岩锂矿之一。
此次合作建立在现有的Onslow Iron合资公司基础之上，旨在满足澳大利亚不断增长的锂需求。根据协议，浦项制铁将按其30%的权益比例获得锂精矿，以支持其新建下游加工设施的计划。这笔交易不仅为MINERAL RESOURCES带来可观的现金流，还有望加强其在全球锂供应链中的战略地位，这可能是推动其股价大幅上涨的主要原因。
