The specialty coatings maker reported adjusted earnings per share of $1.89 for the quarter, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $1.85. Quarterly sales reached $2.232 billion, also surpassing expectations of $2.180 billion and representing a 7.3% increase from the same period last year.
