Zhongyu Energy Holdings Limited disclosed a share repurchase on 10 April 2026, buying back 1.50 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The shares were acquired at prices between HKD 2.68 and HKD 2.71, translating into a volume-weighted average price of approximately HKD 2.70 and an aggregate consideration of HKD 4.04 million.
Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell to 2.75 billion shares from 2.75 billion, representing a reduction of 0.05%. The repurchased stock is being held as treasury shares; no cancellation has yet occurred.
The buyback forms part of a mandate approved on 2 June 2025 that permits the repurchase of up to 277.18 million shares. To date, 1.50 million shares, or 0.05% of the authorised limit, have been utilised. Under Hong Kong Listing Rule 10.06, Zhongyu Energy is restricted from issuing new shares or transferring treasury shares until 9 May 2026.
Management confirmed that the repurchase complied with all relevant listing rules and regulatory requirements.
