YUEXIUTRANSPORT Subsidiary Awards Contract for Electromechanical Project

GUANGZHOU BEIERHUAN COMPANY, an indirect non-wholly-owned subsidiary of YUEXIUTRANSPORT (01052), has issued a letter of acceptance to Chengtai Transportation, the successful bidder. This follows a public tender process conducted through the Guangzhou Public Resources Trading Center. The notification was issued after market close on February 5, 2026. According to the terms, Guangzhou Beierhuan Company and Chengtai Transportation are required to execute a proposed project agreement within 30 days from the date the acceptance letter was issued.

The value of the contract for the electromechanical project is approximately RMB 234 million. Under this agreement, Chengtai Transportation will provide a range of electromechanical engineering services for the project. The bid from Chengtai Transportation was accepted after a comprehensive evaluation that considered factors such as the submitted tender proposal, the industry reputation of key equipment, technical specifications, market share, performance, reliability, brand, bid price, as well as the bidder's track record and past achievements.

As the contractor, Chengtai Transportation will be responsible for the construction of the JD1 section electromechanical project on the Guangzhou North Second Ring Expressway. This covers a stretch from K2986+806 to K3024+960, with a total length of 38.3 kilometers. The project scope includes, but is not limited to: (i) full-scope services for the three major electromechanical systems (monitoring, communications, and toll collection), communication pipeline engineering, and smart expressway solutions. These services encompass the preparation, construction, and defect liability periods, covering areas such as civil construction plans, process design, equipment development, manufacturing (or supply) of materials, transportation, testing, sampling, storage, delivery, installation, commissioning, trial operation, training, and the preparation of construction and completion documents; (ii) temporary relocation of existing systems; and (iii) overall integrated commissioning and testing of the project's electromechanical systems.
