Zhaoke Ophthalmology Limited announced that Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has accepted the company’s registration application for its 0.02% Atropine Sulfate Eye Drops (product code: NVK002), designed to slow myopia progression in children and adolescents.
The TGA confirmed on 2 June 2026 that the submission passed its preliminary assessment and will move to full evaluation. Zhaoke’s filing is supported by positive Phase III clinical data, although specific trial metrics were not disclosed in the announcement.
NVK002 employs a proprietary formulation aimed at stabilising low-concentration atropine. According to the company, the preservative-free product carries global intellectual-property protection and delivers a 24-month shelf life.
Management reiterated that successful development or commercialisation is not guaranteed, and cautioned shareholders and potential investors to exercise prudence when dealing in the company’s shares.
The update was released on 15 June 2026 and signed by Chairman Dr. Li Xiaoyi on behalf of the board.
