On 19 May 2026, Viva Biotech repurchased 0.80 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HK$1.41 to HK$1.43 per share, for a total consideration of HK$1.14 million. The shares are earmarked for cancellation.
Including this latest tranche, the company has bought back 11.62 million shares between 8 May and 19 May 2026, equivalent to 0.55 % of the 2.13 billion shares currently in issue. Volume-weighted average prices for the eight trading sessions ranged from HK$1.40 to HK$1.57 per share.
The repurchases have utilised 5.46 % of the 212.84 million-share mandate approved on 12 June 2025. In accordance with Main Board Rule 10.06(3)(a), Viva Biotech is restricted from issuing new shares until 18 June 2026.
As of the reporting date, the company’s issued share capital remains at 2.13 billion shares; cancellation of the repurchased stock will reduce this figure once processed.
The board confirms that all buybacks complied with Hong Kong listing rules and the terms of the shareholder mandate.
