WONG'S INT'L (00099) Reports Interim Turnaround, Posts HK$50.4 Million Profit Attributable to Shareholders

WONG'S INT'L (00099) has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, marking a significant financial turnaround.

The group recorded revenue of HK$1.258 billion, reflecting a year-on-year decrease of 3.38%. Despite the slight dip in revenue, the company achieved a profit attributable to owners of HK$50.397 million, a stark contrast to the loss of HK$158 million reported during the same period last year. Earnings per share stood at HK$0.11.

Profit attributable to owners of the company reached HK$50.4 million, compared with a loss of HK$158.4 million in the prior corresponding period. The reported results include a decrease of HK$2 million in the fair value of investment properties held by the group and joint ventures, as well as completed property inventories (net of deferred tax), versus a reduction of HK$214.8 million in the previous year.
