Hong Kong-listed MEMESTRATEGY reported interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2026.
Revenue and Segment Mix • Total revenue rose 36.9% year-on-year to RMB29.67 million. • IoT operations remained the largest contributor at RMB24.58 million (+20.5%). • The cultural collectibles investment and development segment generated RMB4.29 million, up 143.7% versus 2H 2025 and representing 14.4% of group revenue. • The newly formed Web3 & blockchain unit booked RMB0.81 million from staking rewards.
Profitability • Gross profit increased to RMB2.09 million (1H 2025: RMB0.65 million); gross margin improved to 7.0% from 3.0%. • Cultural collectibles delivered a segment profit of RMB4.20 million, offsetting IoT (-RMB20.46 million) and Web3 & blockchain (-RMB21.65 million) losses. • Administrative expenses climbed 82.1% to RMB38.86 million, reflecting expansion into new businesses. • Fair-value movements produced a RMB18.35 million non-cash loss on digital assets and a RMB5.63 million gain on cultural collectibles. • Net loss widened to RMB74.00 million from RMB34.00 million; basic loss per share was RMB17.53 cents (1H 2025: RMB11.61 cents).
Asset and Cash Position • Total assets stood at RMB249.34 million; equity attributable to owners totalled RMB210.12 million. • Cash and cash equivalents fell to RMB128.21 million (31 Dec 2025: RMB192.24 million) after deploying RMB39.11 million into Solana (SOL) holdings. • Digital assets were carried at RMB30.04 million; cultural collectibles at RMB15.92 million. • Net current assets reached RMB153.57 million; gearing remained low at 0.2%. • Trade receivables allowance rose to RMB170.74 million, driving an RMB18.56 million impairment charge.
Capital Expenditure and Proceeds Deployment • CapEx totalled RMB39.60 million, mainly for digital-asset acquisitions. • By 30 June 2026, HK$58.44 million of the HK$152.96 million Rights Issue proceeds and HK$39.49 million of the HK$83.72 million December 2025 share subscription proceeds had been utilised, largely for working capital and digital-asset staking.
Dividend No interim dividend was declared.
Outlook Management intends to accelerate business diversification by deepening participation in the cultural collectibles market and Web3 ecosystems while maintaining the IoT core. Future focus areas include trading-card production, toy distribution, blockchain validator services and the development of vaulting solutions that integrate IoT, AI and blockchain technologies.
