Japan's Long-Dated Bond Yields Surge as Fiscal Worries Intensify

Japanese 40-year government bond yields are leading a broader rise in the debt market, driven by escalating fiscal concerns and a continued uptick in oil prices. The yield on the 40-year bond climbed 6.5 basis points to reach 4.265%.

Meanwhile, the 30-year bond yield also advanced by 5.5 basis points, settling at 4.185%, as investor anxiety over the country's fiscal health persists.
