这位高管指出，燃油成本波动始终是航空运营中最关键的变量之一。虽然澳航通过前瞻性的对冲合约有效缓解了部分价格压力，但全球能源市场的剧烈波动仍使行业整体承压。他强调，燃油支出约占航空公司运营总成本的三成，任何持续性价格异动都将直接侵蚀企业利润空间。
值得注意的是，近期地缘政治紧张与供需失衡共同推动国际油价攀升至阶段性高位。这种态势下，即使采取对冲策略的航空公司也难以完全抵消成本上涨的冲击，更遑论那些对冲比例较低或未采取风险缓释措施的竞争对手。业界观察人士认为，航空公司在未来季度可能通过调整运力、优化航线网络乃至提高票价等方式转移部分成本压力。
