法国总统马克龙周五宣布，部分资金将通过一项现有的军事采购计划注入，该计划将从五家法国量子计算公司进行采购。这些公司——包括Pasqal和Alice & Bob——正致力于运用量子力学原理开发处理器，以期在解决特定问题时，速度远超传统超级计算机。
马克龙强调：“未来18至24个月对于成功构建这条欧洲主权价值链至关重要。”他透露，法国将投资10亿欧元，约合11.6亿美元。
此项声明发布之际，正值美国于周四宣布将向量子计算公司提供20亿美元的资助。其中，国际商业机器公司获得了10亿美元拨款，此举推动该公司股价应声大涨。
