Hesai-W (02525) opened nearly 9% higher. As of writing, the stock was up 8.7%, trading at HK$199.9, with a turnover of HK$10.3148 million. On the news front, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange announced on April 16 that, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Shenzhen Stock Exchange Hong Kong Stock Connect Business Implementation Rules," Hesai-W has been added to the list of Hong Kong Stock Connect securities, effective from April 16, 2026. Notably, according to the February 2026 rankings for automotive LiDAR installations released by Gasgoo Automotive Research Institute, Hesai's main automotive LiDAR maintained its top industry position with a 51% market share, exceeding the combined share of all other suppliers and achieving a commanding lead. In February, the total installation volume of main LiDAR units in China's passenger car market reached 165,009 units, with Hesai contributing 83,897 units. Hesai's installation volume was 2.2 times that of the second-ranked company and more than three times that of the third-ranked company. This marks the 13th consecutive month that Hesai has held the leading position in the main automotive LiDAR market.
