Leading U.S. optical retailer National Vision Holdings has announced that its management team will present at the 46th Annual William Blair Growth Stock Conference on June 3, 2026. This presentation comes at a time when the company's first-quarter results exceeded expectations and its premiumization strategy is showing significant early results, drawing considerable investor interest. The company's presentation is scheduled for 4:00 PM Central Time on June 3. Investors can access a live webcast of the event through the investor relations section of the company's website. A replay will be made available shortly after the event concludes. Previously, the company presented at the Citi Global Consumer & Retail Conference and the BofA Consumer & Retail Conference in March. National Vision's recently reported first-quarter financial results demonstrate steady progress in its transformation plan. Net revenue for the quarter reached $544 million, representing a 6.6% year-over-year increase. Adjusted comparable store sales grew by 4.5%, aligning with the company's mid-single-digit growth expectations. Profitability showed significant improvement, with the adjusted operating margin expanding by 210 basis points to 10.2%. Adjusted earnings per share increased to $0.45, up from $0.34 in the prior-year period. CEO Alex Wilkes stated that the first-quarter performance "provides clear evidence that the strategy is working." The growth was primarily driven by a 5.1% year-over-year increase in average ticket value, alongside a continued shift in the product mix toward managed care customers, progressive lenses, and premium products. Demand for smart glasses has been particularly robust. Wilkes noted that the Ray-Ban Meta clientele represents one of the highest single-transaction values within the company's product portfolio. The company expanded the availability of Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta smart glasses to all America's Best and Eyeglass World stores, as well as online channels, in early April. The company maintains a solid balance sheet, ending the quarter with $67.9 million in cash and total liquidity of $361.2 million. The net debt to adjusted EBITDA ratio stands at a low 0.8 times. National Vision has reaffirmed its full fiscal year 2026 guidance, projecting net revenue in the range of $2.03 billion to $2.09 billion, adjusted comparable store sales growth of 3% to 6%, and adjusted earnings per share between $0.85 and $1.09.
