ADP报告显示，9月份就业岗位减少了32,000个。接受调查的经济学家预计非农就业人数将从8月份的22,000个增至51,000个，但原定于周五发布的官方数据预计将推迟，直到立法者就政府资金问题达成一致。
Hathorn指出："目前的情况并不理想，因为市场比以往任何时候都更需要明确性。"她表示："如果美联储官员按ADP数据的表面价值来判断，前景并不乐观，联邦公开市场委员会可能会比目前市场预期的更加鸽派。"
