Guangshen Railway Company Limited announced the completion of the first repurchase under its A-share buy-back programme, acquiring 9.92 million A-shares—equivalent to 0.14% of total share capital—via centralized bidding on 17 July 2026. The purchases were executed at prices between RMB 3.01 and RMB 3.03 per share, for a total consideration of RMB 30.00 million, excluding transaction fees.

The repurchase forms part of a plan approved by the board on 29 April 2026 and ratified by shareholders on 10 June 2026. The programme authorises the use of up to RMB 100.00 million in internal funds to buy back shares at prices not exceeding RMB 4.53 per share between 10 June 2026 and 9 June 2027. All repurchased shares will be cancelled, leading to a corresponding reduction in registered capital.

Guangshen Railway stated that further repurchase transactions will be conducted in line with prevailing market conditions and regulatory requirements, with ongoing disclosure to be provided throughout the programme’s duration. Investors are advised to monitor subsequent announcements for progress updates.
