YSB Surges Midday as First-Half Net Profit Jumps 47% to 109 Million Yuan

YSB (09885) rallied more than 5% during Tuesday's morning trading session, with shares climbing as much as 10% intraday before settling 4.81% higher at HK$3.485, on turnover of HK$1.69 million.

The pharmaceutical distribution platform released its 2026 interim results, reporting first-half revenue of 10.283 billion yuan, up 4.5% year-on-year. Net profit reached 109 million yuan, a robust 47.1% increase compared to the same period last year.

During the reporting period, YSB leveraged its dual-engine growth strategy of "platform plus self-operated" to achieve simultaneous growth in both revenue and profitability. In its platform segment, the company maintained an average of 460,000 monthly active buyers and 430,000 monthly paying buyers, with the paying conversion rate holding steady at 94%.

Reflecting strong confidence in the company's long-term value and development prospects, YSB has actively pursued share buybacks. Between March 23 and July 21, the company deployed HK$159 million to repurchase over 35 million shares, representing 5.1% of its total share capital. Additionally, the board has approved a maximum buyback quota of HK$100 million, which will be implemented opportunistically based on market conditions to further optimize the capital structure and enhance shareholder returns.
