Prudential cancels 313,355 shares and extends buyback activities

Prudential plc announced that it cancelled 313,355 ordinary shares on Nov, 11 2025, reducing its outstanding share count to 2,559,475,274.

The company also repurchased 262,434 shares on Nov, 11 2025 through the London Stock Exchange at prices ranging from GBP 10.74 to GBP 10.915, for a total consideration of about 4.9 million Singapore dollars. These shares are intended for cancellation.

Since receiving shareholder approval on May, 14 2025, Prudential has bought back 47,503,154 shares, or 1.824% of the shares outstanding at the mandate date, out of an authorised maximum of 262,668,701 shares.

Under stock-exchange rules, Prudential is barred from issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until Dec, 11 2025.
