National Day travel buzz hits full throttle as international flight bookings surge

As the National Day holiday approaches, the travel atmosphere has reached a fever pitch, with international flight bookings seeing a significant jump.

The Ministry of Transport estimates that during this National Day holiday, nationwide traveler numbers are expected to reach 2.13 billion trips.

According to relevant personnel from the Capital Airport Operations Control Center, the peak travel days will be October 1 and October 7, with single-day passenger volumes both exceeding 245,000.

Popular domestic destinations are concentrated in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, and Guiyang, while popular international destinations include Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, and Bali.

Currently, international flight bookings have increased by 22.5% year-on-year, and civil aviation passenger volumes are expected to set a new record high for the same period in history.
