Nikkei Advances 0.9% Driven by Electronics and Technology Shares

Japanese equities moved higher as optimism persisted regarding potential peace talks between the United States and Iran. The Nikkei index rose 0.9% to close at 59,365.12. Gains were led by electronics and technology stocks. Lasertec climbed 4.8%, SoftBank Group advanced 4.1%, and NEC Corporation added 2.8%. Investors are set to closely monitor discussions between the US and Iran, aimed at concluding the conflict, which are taking place in Islamabad, as well as any further developments in the Middle East.
