Iraqi Prime Minister to Visit Turkey in July for Talks on Oil Exports

Iraq's Prime Minister, Ali al-Zaidi, has accepted an invitation from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit Turkey in July, according to a statement issued by the Iraqi Prime Minister's Office.

The two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest during a phone conversation, including oil exports via the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline.

Prime Minister al-Zaidi also extended an invitation for Turkish businesses to invest in Iraq, and the two sides discussed water resource issues.
