On the afternoon of October 20, at the IROS 2025 Meituan Robotics Research Institute Academic Annual Conference, Wang Xingxing shared his vision for the ideal form of embodied intelligence. He stated that if embodied intelligence is indeed realized, we may be nearing the advent of AGI (Artificial General Intelligence).

He emphasized that AGI would be the ultimate invention of humanity, capable of transforming consumption, entertainment, and work. He believes that our generation has a significant opportunity, as embodied intelligence could be realized within the next 50 years, especially considering that the computational power of chips has not been as robust in the past decades.

Wang also reflected on many of his thoughts from his student days, saying that he feels a majority of them have now been realized. He encourages those with many ideas to work towards bringing them to fruition.
