SOLOMON SYSTECH (02878) has posted an interim net loss attributable to shareholders of US$3.953 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026, reversing from a profit of US$4.003 million recorded in the same period last year.
The group's sales revenue declined by 4.81% year-on-year to US$43.723 million, with a reported loss per share of US$0.16 cent. According to the company's announcement, the drop in revenue was primarily driven by a decrease in the average selling price of its products, stemming from continued price reductions in end-market products and intensifying market competition. Additionally, a slight reduction in shipment volumes also contributed to the top-line decline.
Meanwhile, the gross profit margin for the period fell to 27.4%, weighed down by higher wafer costs and a rise in gold prices, both of which pressured the group's profitability during the reporting period.
