China Jinmao Holdings Group Limited has distributed a “Change Request Form” enabling registered shareholders to revise how they receive the company’s corporate communications.
Shareholders currently have three immediate options for the printed version of the latest corporate communication: 1) English only, 2) Chinese only, or 3) both English and Chinese.
For future communications, investors may elect to: • Access documents solely via the company’s website, receiving publication alerts by post or email; • Receive printed copies in English only; • Receive printed copies in Chinese only; or • Receive printed copies in both languages.
Key procedural points highlighted in the form include: • Only one selection is valid; multiple or blank selections will invalidate the form. • Joint holders must have the first-named shareholder on the register sign the form. • Requests can be modified at any time by emailing chinajinmao_IR@sinochem.com or writing to the company’s Hong Kong share registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited.
China Jinmao confirms that both English and Chinese hard copies of all corporate communications remain available on request and are also posted on the company’s website (http://www.chinajinmao.cn) for five years from first publication. The company reiterates that choosing the web-only option constitutes explicit consent to forego printed materials until the shareholder submits a new instruction.
The accompanying Personal Information Collection Statement explains that providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for processing requests; data may be shared with subsidiaries or service providers for verification and record-keeping, and shareholders retain full PDPO rights to access or correct their data.
