During his annual address on the evening of September 25, Lei Jun revealed that the Xiaomi YU7, launched in June this year, achieved remarkable success with over 200,000 vehicle orders within just three minutes, a figure that stunned the entire automotive industry.
"The numbers were so astonishing that they drew countless doubts. As a result, we directly announced the locked order quantities at 4 PM the following day - over 240,000 vehicles were locked in within 18 hours," Lei Jun stated.
