Tiande Chemical signals 34% decline in H1 2026 profit, citing RMB-driven FX loss and higher transport costs

Jul 31

Tiande Chemical Holdings Limited announced a profit warning for the six months ended 30 June 2026, projecting profit attributable to shareholders to fall approximately 34% versus the same period a year earlier.

The Board attributes the expected earnings contraction to two main factors:

1. A significant exchange loss stemming from the conversion of US-dollar-denominated trade receivables and bank deposits into Renminbi, as the RMB appreciated markedly during the period.

2. A substantial increase in transportation expenses triggered by a larger sales mix of products containing hazardous components, which required more stringent—and costlier—safety measures in transit.

Management is finalising the Group’s condensed consolidated results; the figures in the profit warning are based on unaudited management accounts and may be subject to adjustment. Detailed interim financial results will be released in accordance with Hong Kong Listing Rules.

The company advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in Tiande Chemical’s shares pending the publication of the formal interim results.
