May 28

Everpure's stock experienced a significant after-hours plunge of 8.44% following the release of its first-quarter fiscal 2027 financial results. The sharp decline occurred in post-market trading as investors reacted to the earnings report.

The sell-off was primarily triggered by Everpure's quarterly earnings per share of $0.07, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $0.08 by 12.5%. This earnings disappointment led to concentrated profit-taking, particularly after the stock had rallied over 5% in the week leading up to the earnings release on strong growth expectations.

Despite the EPS miss, Everpure reported quarterly sales of $1.053 billion, which exceeded analyst estimates of $1.004 billion and represented a 35.26% increase over the same period last year. The company also provided increased revenue and operating profit guidance for fiscal year 2027, but investors focused on the profitability shortfall in the quarterly results.
