Chu Kong Shipping Enterprises (Group) Company Limited (00560) announced that Mr. Liu Guanghui resigned as Executive Director, Chairman of the Board, and Chairman of the Nomination Committee, as well as a member of other board committees, effective 26 February 2026. Mr. Liu’s departure is attributed to a new engagement in another company. He confirmed there is no disagreement with the Board and no matters requiring additional disclosure.

Mr. Liu’s exit leaves the Nomination Committee with four independent non-executive directors. As a new chairman has not yet been appointed, the committee temporarily does not meet the requirement under Rule 3.27A of the Listing Rules, which stipulates that the committee must be led by the board chairman or an independent non-executive director. The Board plans to appoint a new committee chairman within three months from Mr. Liu’s resignation date to ensure compliance, and further announcements will be made in due course.
