During this year's National People's Congress sessions, Li Lianzhu, a National Committee member and Chairman of Shangpin Home Collection, submitted four proposals focusing on government-business relations, technology for people's livelihoods, and employment security. He aims to invigorate the private economy, strengthen livelihood safeguards, and add a human touch to high-quality development through institutional and technological innovation.

One proposal, titled "Accelerating the Cultivation of the Home Companion Robot Industry to Empower Happy Family Building with Technology," addresses the growing issue of a "companionship gap" in households. Li Lianzhu pointed out that China has over 130 million elderly people living alone or in empty nests, nearly 10 million left-behind children, and increasing loneliness among urban youth. He stated that the rapid maturation of technologies such as artificial intelligence, affective computing, and human-computer interaction provides a solid foundation for developing home companion robots. "These products are not just smart hardware; they are 'new family members' that integrate emotional companionship, safety monitoring, health management, and life assistance, potentially becoming important carriers for enhancing public happiness," he explained.

He noted that regions like the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Delta have already gathered a number of companies with R&D and manufacturing capabilities, conducting preliminary explorations in areas such as voice interaction, behavior recognition, and age-friendly design. However, the industry still faces common bottlenecks, including core technologies yet to be broken through, unconnected application scenarios, and a lack of systematic policy support. There is an urgent need for national-level coordination and guidance to promote the healthy development of this emerging livelihood technology industry.

Regarding the real estate sector, Li Lianzhu believes the market has gradually returned to rationality, with clear differentiation characteristics. Demand for old home renovations, partial upgrades, and age-friendly housing is injecting new momentum into the real estate industry and creating new opportunities for the custom home furnishing sector.

When asked about the core philosophy behind his proposals, Li Lianzhu emphasized that they revolve around the symbiosis of "development" and "warmth," the alignment of "innovation" and "livelihoods," and the responsibility and commitment expected of private entrepreneurs. The four proposals, though seemingly different, are interconnected—all aiming to use institutional and technological innovation to make the private economy more dynamic, livelihood safeguards more robust, and high-quality development more people-centric. As an entrepreneur, he believes it is essential to not only run one's own enterprise well but also to have the industry in sight, the people's welfare at heart, and a sense of responsibility on one's shoulders.

For effective implementation, Li Lianzhu stressed the importance of "government-enterprise collaboration and pilot projects first." He hopes the state will issue guidance to promote the Foshan experience, incorporate "entrepreneur perception" into business environment evaluations, and have the Federation of Industry and Commerce act as a bridge. For livelihood technology, he looks forward to special policy support for core technology breakthroughs, improved standard systems, and promotion through livelihood subsidies and government procurement. He also advocates for accelerating the establishment of AI employment risk prevention and skills training mechanisms, setting up buffer funds, and encouraging enterprises to take proactive responsibility for retraining employees.

Li Lianzhu pledged to lead by example, deepening Shangpin Home Collection's core business while actively researching and reflecting public opinion. He hopes more companies will participate to turn proposals into tangible results, contributing to the high-quality development of the private economy and the happiness of people's livelihoods.

On the topic of real estate trends, Li Lianzhu noted that with the continuous implementation of the "housing is for living, not speculation" policy, the market has gradually rationalized. Rigid demand and improvement-oriented demand have become mainstream, shifting away from the previous scale-expansion model toward a greater emphasis on living quality and service innovation, transitioning to a "housing + services" model.

He also observed significant market differentiation, with variations between cities and products. The efficiency of existing home circulation is improving, and demand for old home renovations and partial upgrades is continuously being released, bringing new opportunities to the custom home furnishing industry. Additionally, the growing prominence of age-friendly housing needs, coupled with policies promoting housing quality improvements and replacement programs, is injecting new momentum into the industry's development. Shangpin Home Collection plans to leverage these trends, utilizing AI technology and whole-house star customization services to precisely meet residents' needs for "better living" and seize opportunities amid industry changes.

Regarding the national push for "good housing" construction, Li Lianzhu stated that as a custom home furnishing enterprise, Shangpin Home Collection deeply aligns its development with policy directions. The company advances the implementation of "good housing" from three dimensions: product, technology, and service, ensuring that "good housing" truly suits a good life.

On the product front, the company closely follows the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's requirements for housing quality improvement, launching "whole-house star customization." Inspired by the design of luxury star-rated hotels, the company integrates doors, walls, cabinets, accessories, and home appliances through unified design, achieving full-space planning, full-category matching, and complete project delivery. This approach meets the core demands of home upgrades with higher standards.

Technologically, Shangpin Home Collection relies on core technologies such as AI-powered full-link digitalization, 3D printing, and intelligent delivery to enhance living quality across the entire chain. On the design end, using AI semantic parsing and a massive database, the system captures users' vague needs, recommends precise solutions, achieves integrated planning of doors, walls, and cabinets, and provides 3D VR previews for "what you see is what you get." In production, partnering with Bambu Lab to incorporate 3D printing into customization meets diverse personalized needs. The Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing base utilizes AI for intelligent order splitting and scheduling, achieving zero-error production and adhering to green, low-carbon principles. For delivery and services, AI controls the entire process with error correction, enabling integrated delivery. Collaborations with Zhongqing Robotics help build a smart ecosystem and create intelligent living scenarios, realizing the concept of "good housing."

Looking ahead, Shangpin Home Collection will continue to benchmark against "good housing" construction standards, deepen technological and product innovation, and support the entire chain of "good housing" construction from spatial design to service implementation, helping more families achieve the aspiration of "living well."
