CU Venture Investment (08159) announced that the board has proposed a share consolidation based on a 20-for-1 basis, merging every 20 issued and unissued existing shares with a par value of HK$0.01 each into one consolidated share with a par value of HK$0.20.

As of the date of this announcement, the company's authorized share capital stands at HK$100 million, divided into 10 billion existing shares with a par value of HK$0.01 each, of which 805 million existing shares have been allotted and issued, fully paid or credited as fully paid.

Upon the share consolidation taking effect, and assuming (i) no changes to the authorized share capital from the date of this announcement, and (ii) no allotment, issuance, or repurchase of any existing shares prior to the effective date of the consolidation, the company's authorized share capital will be HK$100 million, divided into 500 million ordinary shares with a par value of HK$0.20 each, of which 40.24 million consolidated shares will be issued and fully paid or credited as fully paid.
