Navitas Semiconductor Corp (NVTS.US) shares surged more than 18% at the market open on Wednesday, extending its staggering year-to-date gain to 320% and trading at $30.40.
The sharp increase follows the company's announcement of a collaboration with Nvidia's MGX reference architecture ecosystem to advance 800 VDC infrastructure for artificial intelligence, which has significantly boosted investor sentiment.
The company participated in a partner ceremony hosted by Nvidia at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei, China, on May 29th and is currently showcasing its 800 V to 6 V DC-DC power distribution board (PDB) product at the COMPUTEX 2026 exhibition.
This product is specifically engineered for 800 VDC rack architectures in AI data centers, with the goal of enhancing overall system efficiency and power density.
Navitas Semiconductor's CEO, Chris Allexandre, commented that as AI workloads continue to expand, power delivery has emerged as one of the most critical challenges in constructing the next generation of gigawatt-scale AI factories.
