The World Robot Conference (WRC 2026) officially kicked off today at the Beijing North Ren International Convention and Exhibition Center, drawing industry leaders and innovators from around the globe.

Chinese humanoid robotics firm Accelerated Evolution is making a strong impression at this year's event with a dual-booth setup. At its secondary booth (D-109), the company staged an eye-catching robot soccer match featuring its entry-level embodied development platform, the Booster K1.

During the live demonstration, the K1 units were divided into blue and red teams, autonomously entering the pitch and operating entirely on AI-driven decision-making. Beyond standard movements such as walking, running, and kicking, the robots demonstrated remarkable resilience—when collisions or falls occurred during play, they swiftly adjusted their posture and rose back to their feet to rejoin the action.

According to on-site staff, each shot on goal is calculated in real time, with the robot factoring in the ball's position and the goal's angle to determine the optimal striking trajectory and force. When faced with an opposing goalkeeper, the K1 automatically recalibrates its shot angle, attempting to outmaneuver the defender and find the back of the net.

Meanwhile, at the company's main booth (B-103), Accelerated Evolution unveiled its flagship embodied development platform, the Booster T2, for the very first time. This new model is powered by the NVIDIA Thor flagship chip, delivering a massive 2,070 TFLOPS of on-device computing power.

To date, Accelerated Evolution's humanoid robots have already been deployed across a variety of sectors, including scientific research, education, and competitive sports, signaling the company's commitment to advancing embodied intelligence beyond the lab and into practical, high-demand applications.
