Geely Auto Issues 44,000 New Shares on Option Exercises, Raising HK$0.42 Million

Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (Geely Auto) disclosed a marginal increase in its share capital following the exercise of employee share options on 8 July 2026.

Key details • New shares issued: 44,000 ordinary shares, comprising – 15,000 shares to employees under the 28 April 2023 share option scheme (0.00014% of pre-issue share capital) – 29,000 shares to related-entity participants under the same scheme (0.00027%)

• Issue price: HK$9.56 per share, implying total proceeds of approximately HK$0.42 million.

• Share capital movement: – Opening issued shares (excluding treasury): 10.78 billion – Closing issued shares (excluding treasury): 10.78 billion – Net increase: 44,000 shares, equating to 0.00041% dilution.

• Treasury shares: Unchanged at 63.21 million. No shares were repurchased, cancelled, or sold from treasury during the period.

The board confirmed full compliance with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s Main Board Rules, with all proceeds duly received and shares issued under the authorised share option scheme.
