Yesterday

As of press time on Tuesday, July 21, U.S. stock index futures were all trading higher.

NEBIUS rose 4.4% in overnight trading. Nvidia disclosed a 9.3% passive stake, representing roughly 22.25 million shares as of July 13, in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing that precludes activism, following the Dutch AI cloud firm Nebius’s announcement of a $775 million first senior secured loan last week and subsequent headlines from TheFly and SEC summaries highlighting the new relationship.

Memory-related stocks rallied across the board in overnight trading. SK Hynix gained more than 3%, Sandisk climbed 2.8%, Micron Technology rose 2.4%, Western Digital advanced 1.88%, and Seagate Technology edged up nearly 1%.

Chip stocks rallied across the board in overnight trading. Nvidia edged up 0.09%, Intel, AMD and ARM gained more than 1%, while Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. rose 0.96%.

IREN Ltd soared 4% as It Signs $2.8 Billion AI Cloud Contracts with Leading AI Developers; Lifts 2026 AI Cloud ARR Target to over $4 Billion.

Upcoming results from ALPHABET, Tesla and Intel will re-test AI demand, capex plans and earnings delivery; whether the rebound holds depends on whether results can justify prior elevated expectations.
